Growth & Infrastructure Bill

According to the Government The new "Growth and Infrastructure Bill will help the country compete on the global stage by setting out a comprehensive series of practical reforms to reduce confusing and overlapping red tape that delays and discourages business investment, new infrastructure and job creation."

Some of the key measures introduced include; the provision to allow the re-consideration of un-viable Section 106 agreements; stopping the misuse of town & village green applications; developers will be able to submit applications directly to the Secretary of State where Local Authorities have historically under-performed in determining applications.
